Competition rules

Version 0.1 · Last updated 17 July 2026

Draft for counsel review. This document is a working template. It has not been approved by licensed UK legal counsel and must be before any public launch. Placeholders are marked [COUNSEL].

1. Scope — version 1

These rules cover free head-to-head competitions in Precision Rush. Each game published on BetGames will have its own version of these rules once it launches. [COUNSEL: confirm rules are re-approved per game before launch]

2. The sealed challenge

Before a match opens, the server generates a random seed and publishes a SHA-256 commitment of it — a hash any player can check. The seed itself is not revealed until both players have completed their runs and the match settles. This means the challenge layout cannot be predicted or altered by either side, or by us, once the commitment is published.

3. Run rules

  • One run per player per match. There is no retry once a run is submitted.
  • A run lasts 60 seconds from the first input.
  • Every input is logged and replayed on the server to calculate the final score — the client's on-screen score is a preview only.

4. Verification

Submitted runs are checked by replaying the logged inputs against the sealed seed on our servers. Runs that fail replay, or that trip an anomaly check (for example, input timing inconsistent with human play), are flagged for human review before they count. A rejected submission does not contribute to the match result.

5. Ties

Where both players finish with the same verified score, the match is recorded as an equal position for both players. Ties are never broken at random.

6. Match expiry

  • Open matches expire 48 hours after creation if not completed by both players.
  • Private invite matches expire 24 hours after the invite is sent.
  • An expired match is void and does not produce a result.

7. Entry and prizes

There is no entry fee and no prize of monetary value for any competition at present. If that ever changes, updated rules and eligibility checks will be published and approved before anything paid is switched on.

8. Disputes

You can raise a dispute about a specific match result within [COUNSEL: confirm dispute window, e.g. 14 days of settlement] through the help centre. We review the sealed seed, the event log and the server replay, and confirm or correct the result. [COUNSEL: confirm final decision authority and any appeal step]

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Automation, scripting, macros or any tool that plays on your behalf.
  • Operating or benefiting from more than one account.
  • Collusion with an opponent to influence a result.
  • Any attempt to predict, intercept or influence the sealed seed before reveal.

Confirmed breaches void the affected result and may lead to suspension.

10. Scoring

Scoring rewards accuracy and reaction speed within the run, with penalties for missed or stray inputs. The full method, including how the seed commitment and server replay work, is published on fair play & verification.
