Break Shot
A seeded nine-ball spread, twelve shots, six pockets. Deterministic physics — both players break the identical rack.
The run
How it plays
- Power comes from drag distance; the whole shot resolves with exact, replayable physics.
- Balls pot in any order — combos in a single shot are where the big scores live.
- A scratch respots the cue ball on the head spot.

Scoring formula · versioned
Every point, accounted for
Integer arithmetic only — the same result on every device, every time. Changing any number creates a new scoring version; old results never change.
| Component | Condition | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Ball potted | nth ball in a single shot | +150×n |
| Clear the table | all nine potted (ends the run) | +1,500 |
| Spare shots | per shot remaining at the clear | +200 |
| Scratch | cue ball potted — respotted | −100 |
| Out of shots | run ends — no penalty | run over |
